If you are on MethodOne version 4.5 or above, you should no longer have overlapping text when using the dymo connect software on your computer.
There were changes made to our labels to prevent that. If you are still seeing overlapping text, you may need to clear your browser cache to pick up the new label.
If you are still in version 4.4, follow the article below.
We have had a couple locations experience overlapping text on their take home labels recently. After connecting to them, we found that the affected computers had Dymo Connect installed. Dymo Connect will not work with MethodOne and having it installed is causing this issue.
If you find that you are having this issue and have dymo connect installed, it may be time to uninstall all of your dymo software and install the recently release version 8.7.4
Prior to installing 8.7.4, please visit your control panel and remove both Dymo Connect and whichever other version of the dymo software you have installed. Typically this would be 8.5.4 or 8.7.3.
Navigate to your Control Panel. If you open settings and type control panel in the search, it will appear as an option. Under programs click on uninstall a program
Look through your listings and find all Dymo Label installations, right click on it and Uninstall.
Unplug your dymo printer from the computer at this point.
- When it has finished downloading, Reboot your computer
- Install the downloaded version (look in your downloads folder). Once installation is complete, then plug in the printer.
- Launch and print a test label from the dymo software (look for a link to Dymo V8 on your desktop.
